Well, it's been a long time since I wrote anything in this blog. Maybe it's because my life doesn't seem quite as exotic and exciting anymore. However, maybe that's just a matter of perception. I've decided to turn a new leaf and embrace the Great Northwest (GNW) and even though I'm no longer writing to keep in touch with the family and friends living here, I thought it might be nice to record what's going on.
I just got back from going to the coast this weekend at Ocean Shores with some family friends. The weather was alright on Saturday, but pretty gross on Sunday, which was fine because we were leaving anyways. Originally we had planned on going to a sunrise service, but since the church wasn't having a service until 10:30, we had our own little worship time and Easter brunch at the cabin before checking out.
I'm currently on spring break and I suppose my job is to get this house into shape before classes start up again. It's always hard to know what to say after I haven't been typing up my stories for a while, but I'll try more to get them up on the web. My town is a pretty strange one, and odd things happen all the time, I just forget to write them down. I'll have to get better at psuedo-names too.

You still have friends around the world who like to hear from you! Thanks for posting. I know what you mean about life not seeming as exotic. I feel the same way and I'm still living in another country!
