Well, I don't know if anyone checks this anymore, but I'll try to get back to blogging, since it seems to be my one journal that's all in one place (and reader friendly).
Well, first I'd like to say... It's time for me to find a job! I certainly haven't been as good as I should be about looking for one. I want to stay in Washington State, but most job advertisements are for overseas jobs. In the end, I'll probably be calling schools in the area and submitting my resume to see what turns up. Be praying for me!
In other news, I'm really excited about some books right now. I've decided that I want to get better at my Spanish, so I bought a book called El Alquimista. I'm sure many of you have read it in English, but it seemed like a good level of Spanish for me. Please don't ruin the story for me. I'm really into it, but it's taking me a while because I can't seem to handle more than thirty pages of Spanish at a time.
I also just ordered two piano books of of Amazon. I can't wait until they arrive. One is a bunch of broadway hits, and I'm sure I'll be missing all the good ol' days at school when people used to sing along with me. If anyone wants a sing along night, (but I actually do have to know you) let me know and we'll have a little party. The second book is the sheet music for the album Much Afraid by Jars of Clay. I've recently started listening to this album again, and the song Hymn really struck me. Part of me just wanted to learn how to play it because I think it's so beautiful.
Okay, and for the last book, I got a sewing book on how to make sock and glove animals. I have all these old socks, that I can't seem to throw away (it just seems like a waste) so I wanted to find something else to do with them. If I ever make good use of the book, I'll post photos of them on the blog.

I still check occasionally! Thanks for posting, and may God lead you to the job that fits you perfectly. I haven't bothered to update my blog, so I won't point you to it, but I can report that married life is going well and I'll attend to the blog sometime . . .
